About
Hiring as continuous workflow, not discrete event.
TrialLoop exists because the way engineering teams hire is fundamentally broken. Interviews are artificial, AI is eroding their signal, and companies that already know better — Gumroad, Linear, PostHog — run paid work trials by hand across half a dozen tools.
We're building the infrastructure that makes paid work trials the default. One platform that handles onboarding, AI tool provisioning, telemetry, evaluation, and payment — so that running a trial is no harder than scheduling an interview, and produces signal that's orders of magnitude better.
Real work over interview theatre
Engineering hiring shouldn't depend on whiteboard rituals invented before AI changed how code gets written. Trials surface the signal interviews never could.
Pay candidates fairly
Trials are real work. Candidates do real work, they get paid for it. Escrow on acceptance, automatic release on completion — payment is never leverage.
Measure AI fluency objectively
Acceptance rates, override patterns, and judgment over a week of real work — captured by admin APIs, not self-report. The 2026 hiring competency, made measurable.
Replace fragmented workflows, not add to them
Companies running trials today stitch them together across Notion, Slack, GitHub, and email. TrialLoop replaces the sprawl with one structured system.
We're launching soon.
TrialLoop is in active development. If you're hiring engineers and want to replace interviews with paid work trials, drop us your email and we'll be in touch when we're ready for design partners.
